Basket Party 2008

Whew...the weekend is over.  Basket Party 2008 has come and gone.  Whew.  It was a total success with over $1000 raised for Oprah's Angel Network!  That is incredible because we had about 20 fewer people this year than last but raised just about the same.  This year's theme went back to the first year (5 years ago!) which was your "Favorite Things."  The raffle (this and a portion of the ticket sales is how we raise the money for charity) this year consisted of donated gift cards.  We had many generous donors that made for some really nice gift card 'packages' that could be won.  The best part about this year's party is that Steph and I had 2 new helpers, our daughters!  Click for photos from the Basket Party
