Wednesday we took the kids up to Mt. Shasta Ski Park for lessons for them and some slope time for Aaron and I. Jacob had his first snowboarding lesson and Ella had a ski lesson. The snow was great and my skis were freshly tuned so it was wonderful. Unfortunately Aaron and I didn't get much time alone on the mountain during the lessons! It was a beautiful and even warmish (as far as skiing goes anyhow) day but now we're bracing for some big winter storms, biggest since 2002 or so they're saying. Snow levels are going to fall over the next few days and we're expecting 65-80mph winds.
We sure know how to wear out our kids!

What a great day, I just wish we could have had more time for ourselves on the slopes. The kids seemed to have fun with it, until they get tired and cranky!!
